Precision Engineering is the only manufacturing unit in Pakistan that has a wide range of Gear Manufacturing machines comprising of CNC and conventional Hobbing & shaping, broaching, shaving, tooth rounding and chamfering machines.
CNC Hobbing Machines
PE manufacturing line is equipped with latest CNC Gear Hobbing machines which can produce gears with a range of 0.5 module to 6 module and a maximum OD of 220 mm.
CNC Shaper Machines
A wide variety of internal gears can be produced on CNC shaper machines. This ranges up to 6 module with a max Dia of 320mm and width 80 mm.
Cold Rolling Machine for Splines
GROB Cold Rolling Method used for spline cutting. Maximum Spline length of 1000 mm on a 100 mm diameter may be machined. No material wastage and low cycle times make the process extremely productive. Shafts with involute splines may be machined with ease.
Gleason Gear Cutting Machines
GLEASON Hypoid and Revacycle cutting machines used for cutting spiral & Straight bevel gears. Crown Wheel, Pinion and differential components produced with high accuracy and surface finish. All pairs are tested before final dispatch to ensure contact pattern & backlash are within range.
CNC Turning and Machining Centers
A very broad range of latest CNC Turning and machining centers. Soft turning, drilling, milling and hard turning are being performed with high accuracy and precision.
Grinding Machines
Cylindrical, Surface & Profile grinding machines are available. Internal grinding is performed on diameters from 20 mm up to 200 mm.
Assembly Lines
Semi-automated assembly lines for the assembly of Hydraulic Pump and Engine Balancer Unit. PLC controlled test rigs for testing of the final product.
Tool Room
Tool Room is a back bone of production activities which includes complete inhouse re-sharpening facility of Shaving, Hobs, Shaper Cutters and Broaches. It also performs special jobs such as development of Jigs, Fixtures and Snap, Plug & Ring gauges. Multipurpose Lathe, Milling, Drilling, shaping and grinding machines are available.
Heat Treatment is another operation in PE which include continuous and batch type gas carburizing, gas nitriding and induction hardening facilities. Heat treatment equipment also includes Tempering furnaces, Rotary Hearth furnaces with Endothermic gas generator to provide & maintain controlled atmosphere inside furnaces.
Continuous Carburizing Furnaces
Two PLC based continuous carburizing furnaces are present for Heat Treatment of hypoid, Spur gears and shaft, with double track and computerized control. Both furnaces are equipped with Oxygen Probing system to control internal atmosphere of furnaces to ensure better quality products. These are first of their type in Pakistan.
Quenching Presses
To maintain flatness, ovality & other dimensions quenching presses are present for hypoid and other gears.
Batch Type Carburizing Furnace
5 Batch Type Sealed Quench furnaces for Heat Treatment of all types of gears, shafts and pinion. Each furnace has oxygen probing system for controlling surface carbon potential of the components during the process which ensures a high standard of quality.
Nitriding Furnace: Electrically heated furnace for Gas Nitriding of Planetary Ring gears is available.
Rotary Hearth Furnace: Gas fired Rotary Hearth furnace for Hardening of gears in inert atmosphere.
Induction Hardening Machines
Induction hardening equipment of Medium and High frequency, having power range from 35 to 300 KW, for induction of Ring gears, Stub Axle and Shafts. 200KW CNC induction hardening , 350KW CNC Twin spindle induction hardening
Tempering Furnace
Continuous and batch type tempering furnaces having temperature range from 0°C -300°C.
Shot Blasting Machines
Shot blasting machines are for gears and shafts. The bed dia. of machines ranges from 8 to 10 ft with dust extractor unit.
Sand Blasting Machines
Manually operated sand blasting machines to clean leftover scale in narrow corners.
Phosphating Plant
There is a line of phosphating process used for gears of differential casings and Couplers.
Endothermic Gas Generators
Endothermic gas generators for constant supply of atmospheric gas to Gas Carburizing Furnaces for maintaining controlled atmosphere inside the furnaces.
Synthetic Natural Gas (SNG)
Plant to cater the ongoing gas load shedding crisis & ensure continuous production, Synthetic Natural Gas plant is in working to supply uninterrupted gas supply to the furnaces.

Chemical Analysis (Wet Analysis) Chemical Lab (wet analysis) facility that can analyze Carbon, Sulphur, Manganese, Chromium, Silicon, Nickle, phosphorus and Molybdenum in Ferrous Alloys.
Precision Engineering has added Gauge and fixture/Jigs Manufacturing Facility in its state-of-the-art manufacturing plant. We are currently producing Gauges & Fixtures for a number of reputable machining Vendors and OEMs in Pakistan. Also, we are offering gauge designing & calibration services commercially.
