The honorable Governor State Bank of Pakistan Mr. Reza Baqir visited MTL factory 23-10-2020 whereas he was accompanied by Deputy Governor SBP Ms. Sima Kamil as well. On arrival the high profile guests were received by Chairman Millat Group, Mr. Sikander Mustafa Khan and CEO MTL Mr. SM Irfan Aqueel. Their visit started off with a swift info session on wide range of advanced MTL products displayed at garden area which are playing a vital role in transforming the Agricultural, commercial and industrial progress of our country. This visit coincided with a Training session organized by Pakistan Foundry Association, which subsequently led to a brief interaction of the leading suppliers and vendors of parts with the SBP officials. Thereon, the valued guests were escorted to the Engineering Department and briefed about our technical expertise and product development initiatives. The team then visited the Green Engine Lab and witnessed the process of development and testing of emission compliant engines being produced at MTL. Subsequently, to view the final phase of Assembly and Quality control the guests visited the Tractor Assembly Plant and saw firsthand the process of our Tractor production in full swing. The Governor SBP was very impressed by the advancements and tireless efforts of MTL towards producing high quality tractors in Pakistan and also discussed the financial hurdles and difficulties being faced by the tractor manufacturers with the aim to resolve the same in collaboration with mutual collaboration.
