Millat Tractors Limited (MTL) is a globally acclaimed engineering company of Pakistan with over 55 years of experience in manufacturing and marketing of agricultural tractors and implements, power generators, prime movers and forklift trucks of international standards. MTL has recently signed a landmark agreement with His Highness Sheikh Ahmed Dalmoor Al Makhoum, a member of the Royal family of Dubai, and Chairman of Kaheel Agriculture LLC, UAE for the export of tractors and agricultural implements from Pakistan to Angola.
Consequently, a five member official delegation of the Ministry of Agriculture & Forestry, Government of Angola comprising of Engr. David Tunga – Director of the Institute for Agrarian Development (Group Coordinator), Mrs. Olinda Gracieth Dos Santos Sobrinho (Director Exchange Office), Mr. Manuel da Silva – (Incharge Farm Mechanization Program), Engr. António Sozinho (Adviser to Agriculture Minister), and Dr. Mouzinho Joao Andrade Andre (Translator), visited MTL on 22nd January, 2020 to witness the manufacturing facilities and expertise. The guests were received by Mr. Sikandar Mustafa Khan (Chairman- Millat Group) and Mr. S M Irfan Aqueel (Chief Executive Officer- MTL).
Mr. Sikandar Mustafa Khan presented a detailed brief about Millat Tractors Limited. He highlighted the company’s role in the development of the local engineering sector. Later, the guests were taken for a visit to the Tractor Assembly Plant, Engineering Division, Quality Assurance, Engine, Machining Division and Training School where they observed the manufacturing and training facilities.
The delegation expressed deep satisfaction in the engineering standards being maintained by the Company. At the end, the delegation thanked the management for the visit arrangements.
